The London Honey Awards, an international honey competition, takes place every year in London. Honey from all over Europe and Arab countries is submitted to the competition. Janar Suuster, a beekeeper operating in Northern Saaremaa, also sent Saaremaa KULD honey collected by his own bees to this competition for the first time.

Gold medal in the quality category

Silver, gold and platinum medals were awarded at the competition. Saaremaa KULD won the gold medal in the honey quality assessment category. This is the first time in the history of Estonia that such a high recognition has been given to the mind.
